kaching.

yesterday was an interesting experience:)
lynn and i carried our com and cpu to cash converter to sell. in total, we waited 3 solid hours before we could sell our com. tsk.
and after we got to the counter after 3 solid hours, we found out the monitor was spoilt. -.- and had the counter dude not been such a nice fellow we would have walked out with just $1.80 for our troubles. in the end, he managed to hook up another com to it and check our cpu stats, so we got another$30. ^^ its a total rip off, but what the heck.

it wouldve been a totally rotten experience, if we didnt meet 2 nice people:) one was james the counter guy and another was wani who is getting back her O levels next year! plus her family is so sweet, that kind of everybody looks after everybody feeling. all the best wani!! hope she can find our facebook accounts :/

oh and we had a com-assembly 101 programme when james asked us to assemble the com in front of him. being the noobs that we were he ended up doing 99% by himself. hahax^^ but it was a humbling experience. he was grumbling at us, asking us if we were planning to become doctors or lawyers. well, either of them cant do squat without computer technicians. :) i shall be more involved in tech stuff at home now, and not be a total dinosaur as kashin always puts it so nicely.

hooked on "geisterfahrer" :) its definitely better than the english version.
