i love wind.

"Somebody in another story here confessed that she speaks to the wind. Kudos to her. This is the wisest practice I have heard of in some time. The wind is trying to teach us its language, and it welcomes our funny, awkwardly tongued side of the exchange. If its only response is a rustle of dry leaves along a street or the wakening of wind-chimes, no matter; I think we ought to keep speaking and listening. Someday we may understand what it tells us." - WhiteRoseChild.

:)

concert-hopped on friday from nj to aj for their respective harmonica concerts! surprised to find that i wasnt the only one. it was a disgustingly uncomfortable ride, though of no fault of the driver's (or anyone else's really). some noob kid's ginormous backpack made me have to do a backbend for half an hour before i got pissed off and just leaned back. from now on i shall always wish for 852 to come before my buses, the people taking it deserve that much at least.

conclusion: NJ's harmonica concert was slightly better. it went for a slightly fantasy theme which was cooler than aj's somewhat operatic theme. but aj's pa system was much better and clearer. their conductor was cool too, his rendition of Butterfly Lovers on the harmoc sounded as though it was played on the flute:) irregardless, it was still AWESOME to see foofoo again, along with meng jiao and the others. i had no idea she was the section leader^^ but she hasnt changed at all, except maybe a less pong4pong3ness to the hair:D

last concert will be moomoo's one on thurs! quite excited, choir concerts always sound good. plus its at the esplanade! shiok.

yesterday was Mother's Day dinner at 3rd uncle's:) thanks ahsim for showing me all the sunrise photos! i love their house's 180 view, with MacRitchie in the corner and no danger of hdb flats blocking you :/ dinner was awesome, but i shall make it a point not to watch movies but play more with my cousins in the future. tooth fairy is a somewhat funny-sick-cliched show with some unneccessary dialogue. plus the image of scorpion king in a tutu is sort of very revolting.

the world is in a constant state of self-parody. but you gotta love it like that. :)the video below is one such example, i was laughing my guts out throughout the whole thing. XD

i love the designer series in the sunday times, cos it makes me feel as if all things were possible. ^^ whether i ever make it as a designer or not, i hope ill always be doing something im passionate about, and wont let other people make decisions for me.
