why are taylor swift's songs so nice-sounding even though theyre self-centred and shallow? just heard her new single 'speak now' and unfortunately, its a very nice tune.
i say unfortunately cos its yet another negative, whiney song about unrequited love.

i gotta say im sick of today's pop music scene. lady gaga, taylor swift, justin bieber, rihanna, nicki minaj, black eyed peas, katy perry, can you all just please take a sabbatical or something. and seriously, stop making any songs that have anything to do with love or sex, stop making songs that only talk about how pro you are, stop making songs about nothing at all.

the obvious option is to stop listening to pop, but since its studying period now im practically stuck 247 to 98.7 and 98.0 fm. and my ears are bleeding.
