what surprised me was the amount of stuff i had. considering i was in school to pursue academics, my academic stuff barely amounted to 1/3 of my things.
sadly, given the limited time i had to move i didnt have time to really sweep/mop the place up, so its still dusty and hairy. aunty's so gonna bitch about me while im gone.
starting work at a well-known shopping franchise tomorrow.
well, technically i started on sunday, but it was 'training' so it was minimum pay - just a way to cut costs to as low as they can go by shaving off a couple bucks while my seniors gave me a 15 min preview and then left me to it. still, all of them are really nice people, and friendly too :) my superior's rather approachable, and my phillipino kakaks are always pretty and smiling and full of good service. this is the 2nd time im working with a big group of pinoys, and i have to say sometimes theyre even better than singaporean colleagues. :/ so far all of my temp colleagues have also been approachable, so ill try to take as much advantage of this 1 week experience as possible .
