hihi! i've finally created a new blog due to the insistence of my avid fans (ie. 1 - elder sister) whatever. im glad i can be her source of entertainment.
hmm, i deleted my old blog in a last desperate attempt to quit my addiction to blogging everyday (which pretty much started once i worked out how to add pics to my posts-ooh, nice one? postpostpost.) and to devote myself to my studies due to my O'S WHICH ARE COMING IN LIKE 96 DAYS. nevertheless, as you can see, it sort of backfired.
ok why did i stop blogging besides that no1 soul-consuming reason just mentioned?
1)i started to feel like i was blogging for other people rather than for myself bcos i was so concious of who and who was reading my blog and what and what they thought about me, that i was literally deleting out all of my thoughts on whichever whicherver subject, just so i appear sane and in adequate mental condition to them
2)sometimes i just used blogging as an excuse to come online so i can throw away half of my day slavishly addicted to other fun stuff like youtube and fictionpress.and the worst part of it was, more than three-quarters of the stuff i read on fictionpress is all cliched bullshit and crap, which is NOT GOING TO HELP MY FUTURE IN ANY WAY UNLESS I WANTED TO BE A BULLSHIT WRITER.
3)there were alot of restrictions as to what i could post. i mean, im still not going to be able to post racial stuff and stuff about the government (like i would anyway) but then, i couldnt post much about my greatest passion and cca - red cross anyway, bc INFORMATION LEAKAGE IS POSSIBLE. we wont want to let other cca groups around singapore get info from us, now do we? ^^ all i will say is my unit is rocking croc socks all the time.
i also couldnt blog about friends negatively, nor people when im upset with them. you know how sometimes when people (esp girls) blog about others theyll be like "oh, ____'s such a loser" and refer to the people as "she, he, her, you, him" or "poots, (nickname) and (nickname)" or otherwise use initials of her/his name, which was what i used to do? yups i started to find that pretty fake, and i yearned to be able to say that person's full name out, whether i was happy/sad at them. hopefully once i tell my classmates/squadmates abt my new blog i will still be able to do that.
i hope that when people who know me get access to my blog (which i wont give until weeks later i guess) they will be able to accept me via my actions and my interaction with them, no matter what i blog on my blog. i know i must also play my part and not be hypocritical nor biased against anyone else whom i have no good reason to hate, but just because they're from organisations i dislike. yeshyesh.
yup, blogging does have a lot of restrictions, but at the same time, i dont want to go private (where the hell would the meaning be then?) nor do i want to barr people from reading. i would like to air my views, and i would like people in the world (no matter if they're from Zimbabwe or the North Pole) to read about them.
on this note,
IM BACK AT BLOGGING, THEN!!! its nice to be able to have an outlet for my thoughts at last again, because the amount of thoughts in my brain was increasing, while my poor brains volume wasnt. ( and all physics students know what happens then, dont we? ^^)

- my BIRTHDAY!-yesterday,on 18/07. happy birthday to nelson mandela, too! thank you everyone for all their thoughtful gifts, i loved all of them. elaine and ariels was extraordinairily cute, jeng yi's was beautiful, zihui and ting hui lin's was extremely practical, sihui's was unexpected but no less loved, xiao jun's one had me moved that she would remember even though we've been separated (oh my!) for two years, the class's was LOUD ^^. my squad's was LOUDER AND LOVED. my family's was all so thoughtful, they're the ones most cherished. of course, particularly BIG SIS LYNN'S PREORDER OF BREAKING DAWN FOR ME, OF WHICH I WENT IN TO HYSTERICS AND ALARMED ALL THE PASTAMANIA STAFF.
and today is juniors cac! though im not there to support, THE SCHOOL'S (dont want to reveal what it is yet) HEART IS WITH ALL OF YOU! ESPECIALLY THE UNIT!!
and on mon is half-day racial harmony day! so going to the library afterwards.
