ive had it with disgusting foreign artistes trying to extend their showtime by cracking a joke or two (or three hundred) about singaporeans lousy english.
firstly, not all singaporeans speak lousy english. we speak singlish, and we speak english. even so, there is no call for mocking any singaporean. is it so funny/wise to evoke the fury of a whole country, even if it is only a country with 6million population and one that is practically non-existent on the world map?
secondly, ALL YOU ARTISTES CAN GIVE ME A CALL WHEN YOU'VE ACTUALLY MASTERED THE LANGUAGE. talk about pots calling kettles black! its really amazing to see people who cant speak english properly criticize others who they think cant speak english properly.
one punk on the show was raucously laughing about how we call everyone "auntee" and "unkerl". its not something i expect you to understand, you ____. but when we say it, its said with respect for elderly. anyone else may start laughing, but i seriously dont care.
