MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE OUT THERE.
ok, first-
yesterday night we had a sort of christmas party! attendees were: mom's friend Bonita, and meimei and didi from downstairs!!
had an okonomiyaki feast-which is a sort of japanese pancake, but we singaporeanised it. ^^ and we ate till super full! goodness. then, we played payday, which is the most brain-dead game ever. i guess brain cells dont really work after mealtimes.
then afterwards, didi and meimei came up and we had LOGCAKE FROM BREADTALK, courtesy of gugu! thank you gugu! mucho gracias! and guess what, we played BOGGLE! HAHAX. turns out that boggle is really really fun, especially when participants are all adults. poor didi was outta his league! hahax. girl power, yo.
anyway, this party was really great. not because it was particularly fun or anything, but because it was very heartwarming. and there were alot of things learnt:
1.that (after much contemplation and hesitation), we should call Bonita, Bonita. because aunty bonita is too old, and bonita jie jie just sounds too weird on a bunch of surly teenage girls' tongues. hahahx ^^
2.that meimei is super talkative! which is cute now, but six years later... haix. hahax! maybe we'll have our first female president in the making :)
3.that tv isnt a really vital part of any engagement. we didnt watch tv at all, but listened to christmas songs and roger whittaker. the xmas songs are so funny, esp the jazz ones. jingle (jangle) bells, jingle (jangle) bells... hahax!
4. even the simplest games can be so much more fun than wii, if every one has the right attitude. :)
5.that log cakes taste great. and raspberries. :)
thank you aunty alicia for the butter cookies! yayay.
and on sunday we're going for ahma's baptism (which is sort of ironic because i didnt go to moomoo's one, which is today :( sorry moo!) and (possibly) hitea with cousins and then go to bonita's house to play boardgames!!!! shiok.
THANK YOU LYNN AND ELISE AND ARIEL FOR XMAS PRESENTS! HOPE YOU LIKE YOURS! LOVE YALL.
today elise are going to make special christmas dinner!
HOSAI.
lets hope we dont burn the kitchen down. do firemen work on christmas day? ^^
well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! even though im freethinking, and all. ^^
