first things first:
CEDAR IS CHAMPION SCHOOL ONCE AGAIN in FDC 09!!
-south district champions (6th year running)
-overall national champion in RCY FDC09.
6 years of non-stop south district winning. marvellous.
i can understand how many schools will dislike cedar because of this. "oh, cedar always wins", "why must we even participate", "cedarians are stuck-up". they don't know that the basis of their flippant remarks stems from the cumulative sweat and blood and tears of every squad every year, who have endeavoured past a million milestones just to showcase what they're made of. what, did you think that we emptied bottles of felix felicis down our throats?
in anycase, we'll continue to strive hard. well done to juniors! ^^

cedar fiesta was today, but i didnt manage to go cos i was supporting fdc. toobad, cos it really looked super fun, especially the haunted house thing :( heard it was quite a ruckus though, super crowded and all that. people getting claustrophobic and all. tsktsk. oh, and too bad they didnt dunk mrs ouyang! as in, im sure it would have raised plenty of money, yes? hahax. supporting the school fund was left to sister elise! who performed her task admirably, and won some prizes too. hehehe.
some other small stuff:
- lynn and i finally treated the family to claypot crab dinner! we were so proud of ourselves, especially when daddy and mommy thanked us for the meal! that $90+ dinner was so totally worth it. :)
-dad has flown to abu dhabi :( its like a missing piece of puzzle; leaving the whole thing incomplete. i loved freedom when dadd wasnt around, but i'd take dad over freedom anyday.
-i wasnt selected for the maldives ocip!! that was a serious blow, cos it was my second rejection after applying for something in nj. best part was, i have no idea how they selected us, because there was no basis of comparison for anything!! :( all i can hope for is another opportunity like this sometime again. and, i really hope greenlink and interact together will bring some meaningfulness into my jc life; though i know studies are important, i really abhor slack ccas.
still, really gotta work on the academics. physics is _____. butbut, I LOVE PHYSICS.
