ive been back to see CEDAR, THE MOTHERSCHOOL!!!

haha ok actually for that have to thank mili. if not i wouldnt have an excuse to go back. not that redcross is an excuse :)
its great to be able to see the juniors again, even if i dont know half of them and have to learn all their names over again. mili kept on moaning about how she felt old cos our sec ones were taking over soon. -.-

with one body part or other always in pain, mili really is an old ahma alr ^^ at 17 years of age. tsktsk.

anyway, back to cedar. i wish they didnt demolish the clock tower, although now i come to think of it if they didnt do it there would be no point in renovation. oh well. i look forward to future batches of cedarians getting reaquainted with jogging sessions again :) seriously, its been too long. im not being saddistic.
and the library's been totally revamped and placed where the GO used to be. cool.

the only sad parts were the loss of the clock tower, the reduced size of the courtyard plus the canteen is so primary-schoolish now. oh well, that's one part that always sucks in a girls' school. oh yeah the chinese and jap gardens are gone too.

took some photos but wont post now, in all cedar looks exactly as promised, at least from front view. i still dont get why you must fix something that hasnt been broken, but the end results not bad :) OH one thing that really made me want to cry was the benches along the first level empty corridor! theyre most of them quite chipped and battered looking, but looking at them line the corridor its like they never ever left. like they were waiting for us to come back. ^^

ok im being emotional over benches. but wtf. they hold memories :) sitting on them, abseiling on them, sleeping on them, doing stretcher obs with them, etc etc. remembering how when we were sec one we didnt dare sit on them cos we didnt know which was ma'ams benches, and how when we were sec 4 sometimes there were so few of us conducting training that we could all squish into one bench during debrief.

haha ok im running away again.
what's cedar's secret?
wearing blue and grey everyday boosts our egos. :D
