tote bags.
which were originally meant to replace plastic bags.
a good, clean, wholesome, mostly environmentally-friendly idea.
but the catch is,
firstly, they havent gotten rid of plastic bags one single bit.
secondly, all corporate businesses wants to be "environmentally friendly" so they start giving out tote bags by the dozen, creating excess.
so now we're not only just gonna find lotsa plastic bags in pulau semakau, we're also gonna find lotsa lotsa tote bags.
its not called being environmentally conscious if you use it to create more waste.
