today was the start of the six-day career familiarisation programme at singapore polytechnic!
its damn cool, but i shant post much of it, just the interesting parts.
today we were doing about the marinetime industry courses, and fun part includes field trip to west coast jetty!
there we did jetty jump- which is a 3m drop from the jetty into the sea. IT WAS REALLY COOL. you can actually count the number of seconds where you are in midair, and you have to fight the reflex action of curling into cannonball position-its really a once in a lifetime experience. and apparently, i didnt take a big enough step into nothingness, and nearly hit the jetty. o.0
of course, singapore waters arent exactly the cleanest, so the time after the jump was pretty disgusting. hahax
but after we were almost dry, we had to go out to sea for a rescue-boat-ride again! THAT WAS PURE ENJOYMENT. 180 degrees of sky, and 180 of sea. i volunteered to be man overboard, so they could stimulate dragging me out of the water. BEING ALONE AT SEA IS VERY FREAKY. imagination goes wild, because you cant really see what your feet is kicking. cos of murky water, and all.
dont really dare to say a lot, because this is only the first day. but its been quite a good start! apart from the boring lectures and all. so far there's been:

quite a lot of fun!
