due to headquarter's usual efficiency, i ended up wasting half my day in sengkang. how i was rendering my support, i do not know, bc i only managed to talk to the juniors after the competition (wow, amazing joycie.) unless there's strength to be said in numbers. in which case, cedar would have won. one whole unit of blues and greys. ^^

well, all i can say is: i really thought we had a chance, but looks like perhaps the theory part dragged us down more severely. actually, its sort of the result i had expected, b/c there was no way we would win unless we changed our first aid knowledge/method of preparation for competition entirely from last years. obviously there's some information that we lack, otherwise we would have won.

still, perhaps this will strengthen my resolve to go and help out for FDC 09. hope it resolves juniors resolves as well. NEW CHALLENGE SHIELD - OUR CHALLENGE SHIELD.
hahax THAT'S the main event.

(plus, at least got to talk with yingsie and mili, whom ive totally been missing. in fact, there have been so many events at which only three of us went to support. tsk, oi squadmates !! hahax)

guess what? apparently i was so tired that when i reached home from the competition I FELL ASLEEP all the way till 9pm. and then, in an inspired stroke of genius, i took my dinner downstairs to eat!! like jamie oliver like that. quite a good strategy, bc while you are eating you're also walking and burning off a few calories. ^^

hahax but i guess im being racist. friend once said to me that the problem with human beings is that we dont look at each other as a species, but as of different denominators. like gender, racial, religious, age related segregation. if only humans change their perspective, maybe there would be a lot less people dying in this world.

but then again, if humans changed their perspective, we could probably save the world and ourselves from impending destruction. but we just do nothing, or at least not enough to make a positive change. see, if humans could build machines that go to mars, surely we could have done something to saves our own environment. as it is, we dont even need machines to save our environment. we're just lazy, selfish bipedal freaks of nature.

ok now im being hypocritical. bleagh.

this is the reason i usually prefer to work alone.
I WILL MAKE SURE THAT WE DONT END UP SHORT OF TIME AS ALWAYS, EVEN IF I HAVE TO DO MOST WORK MYSELF, EVEN IF IT SOUNDS SO DAMN SUCKY.

im tired of having to agree everytime someone laments "we should have..."

procrastination: we acknowledge that it is there, yet we take the wrong approach.
