today spent a great day with squadmates at east coast and ariel's house!!!! but first, one thing i GOTTA get off my chest-
excuse moi, but i had no idea that I was the one PLANNING an outing, in the first place, what the hell does that even mean? that everyone else are participants? i think that the success of an outing only depends on the amount of effort everyone puts in to enjoy it, and not just one or two person's coordination. so what if everyone walked aimlessly in the sweltering sun at the beach for 40 mins? we are the people who chose to make that walking fun.
and i know i do like coordinating things, but even so, that's a CHOICE AND PEROGATIVE. i do not appreciate when people just shove things on me to do and assume i'll do it, PARTICULARLY when its a job that should be done as a group. its ridiculous, irritating and just ruins the beauty of initiative. and WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF I SAID I RESIGN? HAHAX!
ok, im gonna stop ranting here before all my petty indignance cresendos and boils over into some blown-up issue.
so there you have it, thats how i function. im not expecting anyone to bookmark this as future reference or something. its not my fault i cant be as easygoing as hilo or moomoo.
....................................................................
ok, unpleasantries over, now to the nice parts!
hilo was late for half an hour. claps claps. its a record!
managed to reach the interchange early, cos i half ran there. nike sport shoes give you wings! hahax
anyway, miracle of miracles, that 0.1% chance of it not raining actually came true! managed to enjoy a nice bright sun. felt abit cheated, cos i hadnt realised that the water pollution at the sea was so bad none of the others even wanted to come down to the beach, except moomoo. both of us got some wave therapy^^
i feel abit sad, cos even though singapore is a island, we're still not able to enjoy the beach, cos its so horribly disgusting.the only chance would be to go to sentosa. :(
walked down the pathway to look for bike rentals, but apparently one was closed bc there were so little people! went for a beautiful 20 minute walk - and then we realised we were walking in the wrong direction, so we had to u-turn. but we were singing campfire songs as loud as we dared, and moomoo was acting like a paparazzi stalker with her camphone, so it was funn. at least for me, mili was complaining like an old auntie cos she and yingsie were already shacked from their prev outing.
anyway, ate at kfc and then headed to ariel's for movies cos there were some dark clouds forming. we watched THE VILLAGE and CJ7! the village is so cool, the plot is super super unique. and i love the female lead! she's blind, but beautiful in her own way. hahax love how the female lead was the one who saved the male lead in the end.
its a really really nice movie. sort of satirical with regards to society matters, and also its rather psychological. its a thriller, but at the end, turns out there was nothing at all! human's imagination was the only fuel for this plot. its so subconcious, but your imagination is the one who is dictating the story for you. and then, snap, its like you woke up from a trance. THE VILLAGE, go and find out. (yeah right you will.) hahax all my good movie recommendations are all from ariel. van helsing was also her suggestion too!
and i really really got to say this: ariels condo pool must be the best in singapore, just by location alone. it totally rocks!
okay, really really tired to blog about much else. i really dont want to go for physics tomorrow. :(
but then again, since when did my not wanting to ever help anything?
