was nearly late for mr yau's talk today.
he's making teaching look more like sun zi's art of war. seriously, i half expect him to distribute the artilery and immobilizing the forces.
maybe he did read sun zi's art of war. after all, it is a war, of sorts. us vs the arthritic, osteoporosized cambridge examiners, i guess.
he told us our physics grades for prelims, and im so happy i got an A! hope its an a1, but its still pretty encouraging, considering ive been working so hard to raise it from C5 and its my first A in physics since last year. ^^ im gonna do my best not to bring down the class's msg, so we can remain top class for physics!! :) now if only i can do that for chem and hmt as well...
im not sure for hmt though. in terms of dragging down the class, i must be like some iron kilotonned missile being attracted to the centre of the earth or something. still, gonna do my best. ^^

shant blog much about anything else today, i think mr yau's speech was pretty focal, so i shall write about it here, so as to not forget. 4a people, dont forget as well!
1. dont be complacent
2. maintain studying stride, dont let the tire stop turning, and don't let inertia occur.
3. must remember to pace yourself the next upcoming weeks to Os
4. we got a responsibility to the school to do well! im gonna do it for cedar, if nothing else.
i said it out loud today that i was going to get 6 points. i sort of regretted it immediately, because all the insecurities started crashing down on me, as if someone up there was going to strike me for being a complacent little stuck up human.
but that huge speech bubbles up there in the open now, so im going to have to acheive it.for once in your effing life, joycie, keep your word.
