uwaaaahhh. its wednesday!
got back my prelim results and im soo happy that i got 8 points!!!
ok, im aiming for 6 points, but at this stage, im glad i could get 8, because this was the target i set when i was sec 3 - so its pretty much a morale booster-upper. ^^
ok but its only by luck i managed to do rather well for those subjects that mattered. some people are by far pro-er, ALL As somemore. for me, those embarrasing, behind-the-scenes marks include:
HMT-C5
BIO-C5
CHEM-B3
and i also gotta pull up SSG-A2 if im gonna get 6 points. rrights.
GOGOJOYCIE!

anyway, the school offered us career talks today! after 3 whole days of sitting cross-legged, i think my gluteus maximus must be supersolid. whatever. went for the architect, lawyer, accountant and media designer ones!
architect - the guy gotta stop talking like he's half in sleepyland. but i guess it was 8in the morning. irregardless, it was really cool to look at all the designs of buildings and all that designer stuff. there was a short part on interior design, whereby he talked about this 3-storeyed bookcase he did for a client (o.0) which was pretty cool, but definitely couldnt be fengshui-friendly. nor cleaning-friendly too, i guess. still, im glad i went for this one, it was quite an insight to designing as a career.
lawyer - went to have a listen, even though id never be one. but the speaker was late, so i ended up talking to elaine and jengyi for a large portion of time. it was an interesting talk ^^. and jengyi said she would open a clothing line with me!!!! hahax im so happy, cos funnily enough, i cant seem to run out of clothing line partners. first it was peiqi and alicia in pri6, then wanchen in sec2 and now jengyi too!! makes me think that this thing could definitely come true.
now i understand why talking about careers is so nice. because everyone has the freedom to shape their own future, and to choose their own career. its nice not to conform, for once.
anyway, the speaker (an ex-cedarian!) was rather late, but she was a really pro speaker. so it sort of made up for my total disinterest of lawyering, cos she made it so funn. ^^
accounting - im sorry, the guy was super boring. apart from learning that accounting has to do with maths and money, and you can be a teacher or adviser, i learnt nothing else. shoulda gone with social work, shucks.
media design - is VERY VERY COOL. those animation are damn pro. wanted to go for their course with yingsie (really, ys!) but my saturdays are just bloody choped. whee.
hmm. i hope that whatever life throws at me, i will always be able to cope and handle it. oh, and that i'll have passion for whatever i do. ^^

BLOODY HEADACHE THE WHOLE DAY. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT????
